Miss Abby, who is a not so humble domestic donkey moderates this blog dedicated to helping her wild cousins as they face the onslaught of mismanagement by governmental agencies. Miss Abby has teamed with Wild Burro Protection League, to bring awareness to the human public that wild burros are being completely eliminated from our western landscape. She is opinionated, but what do you expect from a donkey that lives at TMR Rescue where they tell her daily how valuable she is? And, she is.
I am really starting to enjoy these half asses! They sure are cute (not as cute as my little Kate was at that age) but, yes, cute. Those tiny ears are adorable, and certainly helps their appearance over their short eared mama's. Poor horses are so horribly deformed looking to me. They just can not possibly hear as well as we donkeys do. I wonder if horses get the same body temperature adjustments we do out of our majestic ears? Hmmm probably not. We are fortunate to have our ears, which are so functional. They cool us, and allow us to hear our cousins who may be miles away. Well, enough of my rambling, here are some photos of our newest addition to our ranch. Sergeant Robert makes his debut!
